Summary:
Tom Wolf's commercials are really making a difference in the race. He has vastly more money than his competitors and they can't seem to catch up. Wolf's commercials are likely the biggest reason why he has the majority of support. Television ads seem to still be the deciding factor over radio or online ads used by his competitors. According to a Franklin and Marshall poll Wolf has 33 percent support, Schwartz has 14 percent, McCod 9 percent, and McGinty 5 percent. Tom Wolf appears poised to take the primary.

The article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette by James O'Toole is about Wolf's dramatic lead over his opponents. I learned form the article that Wolf's television ads are the main reason for his prominent image and are likely why he has much more support from the public. This information could be used to compare the various forms of media used by the Democrats to measure their effectiveness. Even though television is more old fashioned than the internet, it still is more effective at spreading advertisements to the public. The author of the article didn't seem to have an opinion on the news. He seems to think that Wolf will win the primary easily. The article may be used to show that future politicians should focus on TV when running ads.
